Well, happy New Year to everyone, though I apologize for the belatedness of this. I've been busy... not that I really mind. If I were superstitious, I suppose this would mean I should be prepared to be occupied for the rest of the year? How exciting... Though, due to my line of work, I think it might be better to have a few slow nights rather than what we've been dealing with.

I hope everyone else has had an interesting start to their own year..? I trust everyone's staying warm and dry, with all this terrible weather...

I wonder... Shouldn't I have a name? Investigating further, this (among other things) has been a problem for others, correct?

Well, I've found some sort of notebook - apparently used for communicating with others, but I can't help but be a little skeptical about its reliability... I mean - people saying they're sprouting full appendages - wings, even - and they're not even taking much time to grow, from the sound of it? I've got to say, that's just a little hard to believe. It's true that I have back pain and memory loss like the rest, and at a time like this, I wouldn't go as far as to say people are simply making it up, but... that just doesn't seem quite possible. Maybe there's simply been a communication error and people are just misunderstanding each other, hm?
